Janelle Aguirre DMD, MS

Periodontist & DENTAL IMPLANT SPECIALIST

Dr. Janelle Aguirre is a board-eligible periodontist and dental implant specialist known for her clinical precision and patient-centered care. She began her career as a dental hygienist before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of Florida. She went on to complete a three-year residency in Periodontics at UF where she served as chief resident, published award-winning implant research, and received advanced training in the treatment of periodontal disease, bone regeneration, soft tissue augmentation, dental implant placement, and IV sedation.
 
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Aguirre regularly attends professional conferences and study clubs to stay at the forefront of her field. She is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based treatment with a focus on patient comfort, trust, and long-term success. Outside of practice, she enjoys exploring St. Petersburg with her husband who is also a dental specialist, playing pickleball, cheering on the Gators, and spending time with their two rescue dogs.
